Dr. Christy Rainey is a board certified dermatologist with 9 years of experience as a general and cosmetic dermatologist.  She enjoys practicing all aspects of dermatology, and learning new skills and the latest trends at dermatology meetings.  She graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 2003 with a Bachelors of Arts and her Medical Degree.  She was accepted into dermatology residence at the Boston University affiliate in Providence Rhode Island, Roger Williams Medical Center.  She spent 2 years as the chief resident at her program, and graduated in 2007.  She practiced for 4 years as a dermatologist in El Paso, Texas, while her husband fulfilled his commitment as a United States Army Physician.  Dr. Rainey continues to practice part time in Texas. Dr. Rainey is the mother of 2 young children, Ella & Benjamin, and she enjoys spending her time off with them.  Her husband is a practicing dermatologist in the U.S. Army.  Dr. Rainey has a kind heart, and passion for her patients.  She always tries to treat each patient as an individual, and help them understand their skin condition before they leave. She is very knowledgable in the latest treatments in dermatology and has a passion to learn more.
